When will my street be paved/repaired?

The City has a roatational road reconstruction and pavement maintenance program for selected public streets. 

Who is responsible for maintaining the sidewalk in front of my home?

Homeowners are responsible for keeping snow, ice, and debris off the sidewalks that are adjacent to their homes.

Why does the City treat the water?

All drinking water contains various amounts and kinds of contaminants. Federal and state regulations establish limits, controls, and treatment practices to minimize contaminants and to reduce any subsequent health effects.

The City of Bridgeport publicly posts with an annual water report to explain where your water comes from, what it contains, and how it compares to standards set by regulatory agencies.
