The ceremony had aspiring words from Board President Susan Goodwin and Bridgeport Mayor Jim Christie. Crystal Hamrick, Children’s Librarian invited every child to come forth to cut the many colored ribbons that crisscrossed the entrance to their new area. Each child barely contained their excitement and quickly made their way through the entrance, heading in different directions to explore the reading area, new shelves, and more.
