LOCAL EMERGENCY SERVICES COUNCIL
Consists of a director (appointed by City Council) and five members (appointed by City Council). Not more than three members shall be of the same political party.
The Director is directly responsible to City Council for the organization, administration, and operation of the local emergency services program. The local council shall advise the Director on all matters pertaining to emergency services and shall perform emergency service functions within the territorial limits of the City.
Director is a paid full-time City employee
