Bridgeport Schools
The Harrison County Board of Education has established emergency and evacuation plans for every school in Harrison County. Please check with your child/children's school for a copy of their plan.
During a crisis, the first concern is always for the children. Emotions and panic are at the highest level possible when the safety of children is a stake. Remember, to stay calm and please try to adhere to the school policy/plan. These plans have been meticulously designed by professionals in the field.
The safety and welfare of the children is the top priority.
School Administrators, First Responders and the Bridgeport Office of Emergency Management have extensive training in school safety and evacuation.
