A crisis occurs expectedly and if left unaddressed might threaten life, a crisis lasts a finite period of time. DHS-Department of Homeland Security Evacuation-Leave the area of actual or potential hazard. FEMA-Federal Emergency Management Agency Missiles(referring to weather conditions)-Debris and other objects picked up by the wind and moved with enough force to damage or penetrate windows, doors, walls or other parts of a structure. NWS-National Weather Service Risk-The probability that a natural, technological, or civil threat to people, property, and the environment will occur.
